Questions
What does swiping right mean?
That you'd pay for it based on your first impression. It's not a purchase and nothing is charged. It tells the maker whether their pitch works.
Do I need an account?
Not to swipe. Open the deck and your first card shows up in about a second. Makers log in with a one-time email link, no password.
How much does it cost to add my startup?
Nothing. Adding your startup and seeing your results is free. Your card goes into the deck right away. If you want answers faster, there's an optional Boost ($9 at launch).
How does Boost work?
Boost puts your card at the front of the deck for 24 hours, so nearly every new swiper sees it first. Up to 5 cards can be boosted at once, and they share the front in random order. If your card doesn't reach 100 swipes in 24 hours, we keep boosting for free until it does. Swipes stay honest: people still swipe right only if they'd pay. Boost gets you answers faster, it doesn't buy yes votes.
What do makers see?
The share of people who'd pay, whether they're developers, founders or marketers, and how many clicked through to your site. The % appears after 10 swipes, so one or two early votes can't skew it.
Who can see my results?
The full breakdown is only for you. Your startup's public share page shows the headline % once you pass 10 swipes, so it's ready when you post it on X.
Is "I'd pay" a real buying signal?
It's intent, not a sale. But it's a harder yes than a like, and first impressions decide whether someone clicks through at all.
